TESTEX Community Mask is a label that identifies textile masks designed to be worn by the general public when out and about.
TESTEX Community Mask means that any masks carrying it are safe, comfortable, washable and reusable and provide a high level of protection.
We subject a face covering to extensive testing before awarding it the ‘TESTEX Community Mask’ label:
- Reusability
- Air permeability
- Splash resistance
- Particle filtration efficiency
- Colour fastness to domestic washing
- Colour fastness to saliva
- Dimensional change
Testing according to the Swiss Association for Standardization’s specifications
Textile masks with the ‘TESTEX Community Mask’ label have been tested based on the Swiss Rule SNR 30000:2021 from the Swiss Association for Standardization (SNV).
