The popularity of organic cotton has grown substantially in recent years. New testing from OEKO-TEX® helps companies throughout the global supply chain easily test their organic cotton products for GMOs (genetically modified organisms), a molecular-level indicator of whether or not cotton products actually meet a fundamental definition of organic.
The OEKO-TEX® Association is again making every effort to provide support in the areas of consumer protection and sustainability along the textile value creation chain in 2018. The modifications of the existing guidelines in the OEKO-TEX® product portfolio have now finally come into effect on 01 April 2018 following a three-month transition period and are valid for all certification systems and other services.

On 5th October 2017, TESTEX invited leading figures of Indonesia’s leather industry to attend a one-day seminar at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel in Yogyakarta.
